Awards Criteria and Competition Structuring
Building excellence is consistently recognised by the Registered Master Builders Association through their annual ‘House of the Year’ awards.
All entries under the Master Builders house of the year competition are judged against a national scorecard to ensure consistency throughout the country. The Judges look at workmanship, design, functionality and the style of work undertaken. The property is also judged on the quality of finishing, attention to detail, structure, difficulty, energy efficiency, installation of materials, creation or retention of character and innovation of product use.

Gold Awards, are judged to be at least 80% higher than industry standard 
Silver Awards, are judged to be at least 65% higher than industry standard 
Bronze Awards, are judged to be at least 50% higher than industry standard 
All residential enteries are eligible for Life Style Awards
